It is with some regret that have we decided (for the first time in our history) to cancel the parkrun on Saturday, 24 December. Billy and Wendy inspected the Bught Park today; it is completely saturated. They also spoke to Mike, the groundsman.
Bearing in mind tomorrow’s weather forecast, the ground conditions are not going to improve. The potential windchill hazard is an additional factor.
We have done our best to inform people but please spread the word, if possible. And, having made the decision, it is not going to be reversed, even if there is a remarkable change in the weather.
Hopefully, all will be well for Saturday, 31 December.
