Wednesday 4th September – Cake Day!

Sixty for Sixty – 60K in a Day

IMG_3005b

This coming Wednesday I (Sheila) am undertaking a wee bit of a challenge to celebrate entering a new decade of life. I plan to run 60km over the course of the day – from 8am to 8pm – in several short runs.

Two of these runs will be during the routine Jog Scotland sessions, that is the Afternoon Session at 1:30 to 2:30 and the Evening Session at 6:45 to 7:45.

Then celebration and cake at 8pm!

Everyone is welcome to join me! The more the merrier. Note, I will be running at a slow pace and would love to have some of the C25K runners from the past few years’ C25K Beginners 10-week courses join me.

Very approximate schedule
08:00-09:15 Kiltarlity-Beaufort loop
09:45-11:00 Kiltarlity-Belladrum loop
11:30-12:45 River Beauly loop
13:30-14:30 Jog Scotland Afternoon Session Meet at Railway station
15:00-16:00 Muir of Ord somewhere – depends on who turns up to join me
16:30-17:30 Muir of Ord somewhere – depends on who turns up to join me
18:45-19:45 Jog Scotland Evening Session Meet at Railway station
19:45-20:00 Celebration and Cake

If you plan to join me for any of my runs outwith the usual Jog Scotland sessions, could you let me know please and I can confirm where/when and what distance I plan to run.

Email me on sheilawallace92@gmail.com and we can swap contact numbers, so I can confirm my movements on the day.

    1. Thanks for the wishes, Margaret. I read these last week, but couldn’t approve your comment from my phone! I’m looking forward to doing my first event the FV60 classification!
